About

About EvidentAI.

Why this exists

I was advising a small regional bank on its first AI application. They had architecture diagrams, model documentation, permission lists, and guardrails. The documentation was complete.

Then I asked them to walk me through what the application actually did for a few real requests, from start to finish.

That's when it fell apart.

The logs lived in different systems. Events didn't line up. Some actions were easy to trace, others weren't. I could review the design, but I couldn't verify what the application had actually done.

Someone on the team said, "We never really thought about what an examiner would need."

Maybe. But I think the bigger issue was that there was no single view of how the application made a decision. Without that, there was nowhere for a policy to attach, and no reliable way to prove it had been followed.

That's the problem EvidentAI solves.

Policy runs where the decision happens.

How this gets built

EvidentAI is a small team building with regulated industries, not at them. The founding design partner program exists so the product gets shaped by partners with exam dates on the calendar.

The evidence format is published openly. Policy interpretation and control mapping are built in house, because that is where the hard part is.

Where things stand

EvidentAI has operations in Hyderabad and sells into the United States. The demo is live. The company is a member of Microsoft for Startups and the Google for Startups Cloud Program, is recruiting design partners, and is raising a seed round.
